A popular family holiday resort in United Kingdom is now taking a more conservative stance when it comes to proper swimwear attire.

According to reports, the Alton Towers Resort will no longer allow men to wear skimpy swimwear such as Speedo in their premises in a bid to prevent embarrassment among other patrons of the holiday destination.
Some popular celebrities such as Ronaldo and Rod Stewart were seen in the resort in the past wearing these skimpy underwear but the times have changed.
The resort officials stated that it is now focusing on maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere which means that children can easily go around with parents no longer worrying if they get to see men wearing next to nothing.
Alton Towers Sales and Marketing Director Morwenna Angove said that it has been noticed that there’s an influx of men wearing skimpy swimwear in the past few years which prompted their Waterpark team to do something about the situation and the growing complaints among parents.
She suggested that at this point, men should start wearing more conservative swimwear such as shorts or board shorts before taking a plunge in the resort’s pools.
