Internationally-renowned supermodel Elyse Taylor was in Sydney, Australia recently to open the second annual Sydney Fashion Festival. The Australian, which is currently based in New York, was seen walking down the catwalk with a trench-coat inspired dress created by Jayson Brunsdon.

Famous Australian personalities were seen at the audience area including Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice who revealed that this is the only event she can attend in the six-day festival because she needs to back in Brisbane.
In an interview Rice said that she had a blast at the recently concluded World Championships in Rome and is now enjoying her break. She added that this was her first time attending a fashion event.
There were a lot of new styles presented to the audiences that night including jackets adorned with sequins, halter neck dresses, swimwear and many more.
As for Taylor, she’ll be staying in the city for a while since she’ll be back to model the Seafolly swimwear line. She commented that Brunsdon’s creations were superb and that she’s looking forward to wear them in the future.
The Sydney Fashion Festival will have more than 15 events. Other designers scheduled to show their creations are Lisa Ho, Nicola Finetti and Wayne Cooper.
